Badshahi Mosque – Lahore Pakistan

Badshahi Mosque – Photographed this beautiful architectural marvel built by Mughal emperor Aurangzeb between 1671 and 1673. It was the largest mosque in world till 1986. This architectural masterpiece has its exterior made of carved red sandstone with white marble inlay. Prayer hall of the mosque has fine mughal art carved on white marble which is unique in its own way. There is also a small museum having Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) hair, stick, turban and foot prints.
Situated in Lahore, it is one of Pakistan’s most iconic sights.
